Job summary

AG STAFFING is seeking an Assistant HR Manager (Manufacturing/Engineering/Construction) to oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management and regulatory compliance in the Cheras- Puchong area. The role covers local, expatriate and foreign worker programs across multiple plants.

The candidate should have 5–10 years in HR within manufacturing and be fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. The position includes payroll oversight, benefits administration and liaison with government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business/Administration/Management or HR.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
• 5–10 years in related field; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, HRIS, compensation & benefits, recruitment, foreign worker management, learning & development, IR & ER.
• Strong leadership, communication and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Plan manpower requirements, coordinate recruitment, interviews, onboarding and retention of local employees, expatriates and foreign workers.
• Manage performance appraisal, career development, succession planning and training programmes to enhance workforce competency.
• Oversee resignations and onboarding processes including handovers, compliance, final tax settlements, and accurate records.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, OSH and related regulations.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, leave, insurance and statutory contributions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, counselling and termination processes.
• Liaise with government authorities including Immigration, MoHR, SOCSO, EPF, LHDN, HRDC Corp and other agencies.
• Oversee Employment Passes and immigration-related permits for expatriates and foreign workers.
• Ensure housing, welfare and employment condition compliance for foreign workers.
• Review HR systems, policies and practices with management to align with company objectives.
• Manage HR documentation and servers.
