Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness per sanitation guidelines.
• Handle transportation of food and supplies and monitor temperatures.
• Wash dishes and operate dishwashers; report malfunctions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare food items by ensuring both quality and quantity.

Ensure that food items are appropriately arranged on plates and platters.

Prepare and assemble portionsin accordance withthe menu.

Store food inan appropriate manner.

Ensure that food items are properly rotated in storage.

Dispose of expired products and record accordingly

Arrange plates and food items neatly on trays

Ensure cleanliness of kitchen by following cleaning and sanitation guidelines.

Manage transportation of food and supplies. Ensure temperatures are withinspecifiedrange asaccording to statutory requirements and recommended approved guidance.

Deliver food to theappropriate roomor person; collect and discard the meal tray within the stipulated time.

Managing food inventory and suppliesareaccording to par level.

Wash dishes and flatware.

Operate andmaintaindishwashers.

Report kitchen malfunctions to superiorimmediately.

Inspect food items and equipment on aconstantbasis.

Assistwith food preparation services for catering projects.

Any other duties as per instructed by the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education:

SPM or equivalent

Knowledge and Experiences:

No experience required as on-the-job training shall be provided.However, experience infoodrelated industry shall bean added.

Familiarity with any food industry.

Experience in Hospital Dietary Services will be an extra advantage.

Knowledge of customer service related.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
