Job summary

Excel Glamour Housing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, planning and controls for its palm oil business. The role provides insights and commercial support to management to drive sound financial performance and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• ACCA/CPA/CIMA/MIA qualifications are an added advantage.
• 5 years relevant experience; managerial or supervisory exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations, reporting, planning, and financial controls of the palm oil business. The role provides financial insights and commercial support to management to ensure sound financial performance, effective cost management, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

Plan, manage, analyze and report the financial performance.

Able to handle a full set of accounts either manually or using accounting software.

Responsible for financial control, planning and statutory compliance matters.

Able to work with estate / mill accounting staffs on all accounting activities.

Prepare & submit monthly management accounts on a timely basis.

Assist to implement and review on control policies & operational processes within the company and estate / mill to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary & Governmental bodies; responsible for all statutory compliance matters.

Able to work with functional heads to implement business decisions & strategies.

Complete other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the top-management from time to time.

Office at two locations in Kuala Langat: HQ in Banting and Bandar Saujana Putra.

Job Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or equivalent. Advanced qualifications or certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA are an added advantage.

5 years relevant working experience; preferably with prior managerial or supervisory responsibilities. Working experience in an international audit firm and/or PLANTATION industry is an added advantage.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience in accounting software systems [SQL, Autocount, Pinfosys Plantation System] is preferred.

Familiar with taxation (MPERs, MFRS, Income Tax Act 1967 and Companies Act 2016).

Good written & verbal communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia; with an ability to converse in Mandarin would be an added advantage. Able to communicate and collaborate across teams and lead the accounting departments.
