Innowave Tech Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee Malaysia’s finance and accounting operations, support Singapore HQ, and coordinate with Taiwan and Germany entities.

The role involves hands-on accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and regional coordination across entities. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in accounting, a diploma or degree in accounting/finance, and proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably full-set accounting.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, SST and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
• Strong English and Chinese communication with regional teams.
• Legally eligible to work in Malaysia without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-set accounts, including bookkeeping, general ledger and reconciliations.
• Handle monthly and year-end closing and financial reporting.
• Review Taiwan and Germany accounts prepared by external firms for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare group reporting packages and consolidate with Singapore HQ.
• Manage intercompany transactions, balances and fund transfers.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial records across regional entities.
• Oversee payment processing, invoice verification and approval procedures.
• Monitor expenses, budgets and cash flow; update cash flow forecasts.
• Develop and improve accounting procedures, internal controls and SOPs.
