Job summary

Hytech Consulting Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant / Account Manager in Kuala Lumpur to ensure accurate financial records and streamlined accounting operations. You will prepare financial statements, manage daily ledger activities, and support automation efforts to drive business success.

The role requires at least 6 years in finance/accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and strong English and Chinese communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
CPA/ACCA/CMA certifications are advantageous.
At least 6 years of finance/accounting experience.
Experience in brokerage/financial services/fintech preferred.
Leadership experience with a small finance team.
Strong English and Chinese communication.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in MPERS/MFRS/IFRS.
Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts with variance analysis.
Manage accounts payable/receivable, GL, intercompany, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure tax compliance and review tax computations.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and stakeholders for timely reporting.
Enhance internal controls and drive process improvements.
Assist in new processes and system implementations, including automation.
Coordinate with departments to meet financial objectives.
Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by Finance Manager or seniors.
