Job summary

Randstad partners with a premier real estate and hospitality investment group and seeks an ambitious Assistant Finance Manager (Contract) to join their Malaysia team. You will lead Executives and Senior Executives in the Shared Service finance function, overseeing end-to-end financial reporting for entities across Australia and Singapore.

Responsibilities include month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and driving digital transformation projects within a high-profile international

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/ACCA/MIA preferred.
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Active professional qualification is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, guide, and supervise Executives and Senior Executives within the Shared Service finance team to foster a high-performance culture.
• Financial & Management Reporting: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of accurate, timely financial and management reporting for designated entities across Australia and Singapore.
• Closing & Reconciliations: Coordinate month-end closing activities and rigorously review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure strict compliance and accuracy.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; active professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, MIA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
