Job summary

Elanco Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Assistant Finance Controller to oversee accounting, financial reporting, controls and tax compliance for the Malaysia business.

You will collaborate with affiliate operations finance and corporate teams to manage O2C, P2P and R2R processes and support audits. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, at least 5 years' experience, and strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, advanced MS Excel, and excellent communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; audit experience a plus.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly closing entries and coordinate with partners.
• Support monthly closing of books, TB commentaries, and reconciliations.
• Manage O2C, P2P, and R2R processes and controls.
• Coordinate with tax team on compliance and filings.
• Support external audits and statutory reporting.
• Assist in transfer pricing and cash flow forecasting.
• Provide accounting guidance to partners and ensure policy compliance.
