Job summary

Subur Tiasa Holdings Berhad is seeking a capable technical engineer to develop 2D CAD drawings and 3D models for new and customised products, supporting development through prototyping, testing and validation.

You will prepare specifications, manuals and guides, while providing technical input for sales proposals and customer enquiries. Collaboration with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing and QA ensures product feasibility and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or related field.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in application engineering, technical sales or product development is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical calculations, specification reviews and develop 2D CAD drawings and 3D models for new and customised products, supporting product development, prototyping, testing and design validation.
• Prepare, update and maintain technical documentation including engineering specifications, installation manuals and user guides.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support by assisting with sales proposals, tenders and customer enquiries, while acting as the technical point of contact for application requirements and technical queries.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and solution briefings to customers to support business development activities.
• Analyse product performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for design improvements, cost optimisation and performance enhancement.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance teams to ensure product feasibility, integrity and continuous improvement.
