Job summary

Gas and Aero Power Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an entry‑level engineer (0–2 years) to support proposals, sourcing, RFQs, and engineering tasks. You will assist with 3D modeling and technical documentation while coordinating with international teams and vendors.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have hands-on CAD/SolidWorks experience, along with strong English communication skills. Mandarin is a plus for collaboration with U.S. and China teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mech, Electrical, Power or related).
• Entry-level position: 0-2 years preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with CAD and SolidWorks preferred.
• Basic knowledge of gas turbines or power plant systems preferred.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and work with international teams (U.S. and China).
• Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for gas turbine maintenance, inspections, and overhauls.
• Source and evaluate suppliers globally for turbine parts and services.
• Handle RFQs, quotations, and cost analysis for projects.
• Maintain company databases.
• Support engineering work such as basic drawings, 3D modeling, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with power plants, OEMs, and vendors for project execution and technical clarification.
• Participate in tender submissions and market research (Malaysia, ASEAN).
• Contribute to company marketing materials (website, brochures, presentations).
