Job summary

Accorhotel in Sepang is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the hotel's engineering systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and BMS. You will provide hands-on leadership in operations, preventive and corrective maintenance and supervise a technical team.

The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the hotel's engineering systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS). This role provides hands-on leadership in hotel-wide engineering operations, preventive and corrective maintenance and team supervision. The position ensures that all engineering activities comply with applicable Malaysian regulatory requirements, hotel standards, safety procedures and operational requirements, while supporting a seamless guest experience and the efficient day-to-day operation of the hotel.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in hotel engineering operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, building automation, fire protection systems and applicable Malaysian engineering regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with good proficiency in engineering-related software and Microsoft Office applications.
