Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad operates KPJ Seremban Specialist Hospital and seeks an Admission unit professional to manage day-to-day operations and ensure accurate patient data at admission.

You will handle insurance and MCO cases, verify guarantee letters, and support the admission flow while delivering courteous service to Corporate Clients and patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or certification needed.
• 1 year of working experience preferred.
• Strong communication and basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct day-to-day operations of the Admission unit.
• Ensure patient particulars are entered accurately on admission forms.
• Verify information on admission forms and attach required documents.
• Ensure Guarantee Letters are verified, scanned, and up-to-date in the system.
• Coordinate with insurers and handle MCO cases for admission flow.
• Promptly respond to corporate client complaints and queries.
• Collect deposits on admission date and issue receipts accurately.
• Ensure patients are assigned to wards within management-set targets.
• Monitor BMS system and inform on important notes to relevant stakeholders.
• Perform duties as directed by management and comply with standards.

Responsibilities

• To plan, organize, direct, control day to day operations of Admission unit
• To ensure patient’s particulars be entered in the admission forms
• To ensure information patient on admission form are valid and accurate
• To ensure supporting or related documents attached accordingly
• To ensure Patient’s guarantee form be filled-up and signed by relative
• To ensure an efficient service for admission flow on insurances and MCO cases.
• To quickly and courteously response to all Corporate Clients complaints and query
• To ensure that deposit is collected on the admission date and receipt issued immediately and correctly and the related information and co-payment should be informed to patient accordingly
• To ensure that patients be sent to wards within the target set by management
• To monitoring BMS system closely
• To ensure all Guarantee Letter (GL) are verified are valid/accurate and scanned before patient proceeding to get treatment
• To ensure update the initial GL in GL’s system accordingly and accurately
• To checking patient's limit and non-cover item/procedure before patient proceed any surgery/procedure
• To ensure important notes should be inform to respective patient/ person/services accordingly
• To ensure that all insurance form fill up by consultant and Guarantee letter are received within 24 hours
• To perform any other duties as and when required by the management.
• Responsible and accountable to carry out duties as in the Occupational Safety and Health Act Regulations 1994 Conformance to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, and/or Hospital Accreditation requirements
• Responsible and accountable to carry out all 5s activities directed by the Management
• To adhere to Standard People Practice (SPP)
