Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
• Master's degree or CPA/ACCA is a plus for the role.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and consolidation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for reports and documentation.
• Team player with ability to work with other departments.
• Maintain integrity and ethics when handling sensitive financial information.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports for the Group in compliance with MASB approved accounting standards and regulations.
• Review subsidiary submissions and follow up on reporting issues, variance and outstanding schedules.
• Support preparation of Bursa announcements, audit committee papers and annual report disclosures.
• Coordinating with finance teams across different business units to gather financial data and ensure consistency in reporting.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
