Banle Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced Group Finance Manager to supervise group invoicing, monthly closings, and consolidation across subsidiaries. You will manage intercompany reconciliations, tax reviews, and statutory filings while leading a team of finance executives to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The ideal candidate holds ACCA/CPA or equivalent, with 2–4 years in group accounting and strong Excel/AutoCount skills. Five-day work week with medical allowance and discretionary bonus.
Oversee group invoice management to ensure full accuracy and compliance with local financial regulations, and to ensure timely invoice issuance to all customers.
Review and validate daily accounting entries and bookkeeping work completed by finance executives across all group subsidiaries.
Rectify non-compliant accounting practices and formulate unified standards to streamline subsidiary account preparation procedures.
Develop and distribute official month-end and year-end account closing schedules for the entire group.
Track and supervise the overall closing progress to guarantee 100% on-time completion of all closing tasks.
Examine management reports of all individual subsidiaries before group financial consolidation to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Verify the accuracy, completeness, reliability and consistency of data in consolidated financial statements.
Prepare and regularly update the group intercompany transaction matrix to record cross-entity business activities.
Perform intercompany balance reconciliation, identify and resolve outstanding account discrepancies in a timely manner.
Review monthly bank reconciliation statements for all group entities to ensure bank account consistency.
Follow up closely on unreconciled items and long-outstanding bank transactions for timely settlement.
Compile and prepare accurate group-level sales and purchase transaction listings on a regular basis.
Review company and group tax computation worksheets to ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and internal group policies.
Identify potential tax compliance risks and implement effective mitigation measures for the group.
Serve as the primary point of contact for annual external audits of the company and the entire group.
Organize and provide complete financial documentation and fully support all audit fieldwork procedures.
Monitor daily work progress and deliverable quality of subordinate finance executives.
Provide professional accounting guidance and on-site support to resolve daily operational and technical issues.
Conduct regular performance monitoring and formal performance appraisals for team members.
Optimize team workflows, improve overall work efficiency and standardize daily financial operations.
Assist in formulating work schedules for statutory submissions including 6K and 20F filings.
Collect, sort and compile financial data and disclosure materials required for regulatory statutory filings.
Ensure all statutory declaration and filing tasks are completed accurately and punctually.
