Job summary

E XING PRECISION DESIGN SDN. BHD. is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician to join the Butterworth, Penang team. You will assemble mechanical equipment and fixtures, read drawings, and support production targets while maintaining tools and equipment.

You will collaborate with engineering on the shop floor, participate in stock takes, and help uphold 5S practices. The role offers opportunities for career development within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Tooling
• CNC Machine experienced wtih added advantage
• Knowledge of InCircuit Test are required

Responsibilities

• Handle assembly of mechanical equipment, Fixtures
• Read and understand drawings as per requirements
• Ensure maximum machine utilization and achieve production targets
• Maintain equipment / tools and testers in good condition
• Assist in assembly of fixtures and packing of completed parts
• Assist Engineering department on the production floor
• Participate in stock takes
• Perform preventive maintenance for production equipment
• Assist to uphold 5S on the production floor
• Any adhoc tasks assigned by Management

What you’ll be doing

• Handle assembly of mechanical equipment, Fixtures
• Able to read and understand drawing as per requirements
• Ensure maximum machine utilization and achieve production targets
• Maintain equipment / tools and testers in good condition
• Handling / assist in assembly of fixtures and packing of completed parts
• Assist Engineering department in the production floor
• Take part in company requirements activities such as stock take
• Perform periodically preventive maintenance for Production equipment
• Assist to upkeep 5S in production floor
• Any adhoc tasks assigned by Management
