- Supervise engineers, technicians, and operators within the section.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
Production & Process Optimization
- Oversee semiconductor fabrication, assembly, or testing processes.
- Work on process improvements to enhance yield and reduce defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain).
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of semiconductor equipment.
- Work with vendors to acquire and implement new technologies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in the production line.
Quality & Yield Improvement
- Monitor process control metrics and take corrective actions.
- Implement Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other quality methodologies.
- Analyze defects and improve process reliability.
Project & Budget Management
- Plan and allocate resources efficiently.
- Manage budgets and cost reduction initiatives.
- Lead projects related to capacity expansion or technology upgrades.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments (Design, R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain).
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and technology transfers.
Education Level and Field of Study:
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Working Experience:
- Experience: 5–10 years in semiconductor manufacturing, engineering, or process management.
Technical and Professional Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (Front-End / Back-End).
- Familiarity with process control tools, metrology, and defect analysis.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, FMEA methodologies.
- Proficiency in semiconductor equipment operation and troubleshooting.
Certification/ Licensing Requirements:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, FMEA methodologies
