Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking an Assembly Technician in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The role involves assembling mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components to specification, with 2/3 shift schedules and potential permanent conversion over time.

Ideal candidates hold a related diploma and have experience in technical assembly or manufacturing. Fresh graduates may apply. Willingness to work in Pasir Gudang is required and shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Automation or related technical field.
• Experience in technical assembly, equipment assembly, production or manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components according to work instructions.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics and assembly drawings.
• Perform product testing and basic troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical issues.
• Ensure completed assemblies meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with engineers and production teams to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workplace according to 7S practices.
• Support installation, maintenance and process improvement activities when required.

Position: Assembly Technician

Location: Pasir Gudang Industrial Area, Johor

Salary Before OT: RM2,500 – RM3,300 per month (Basic + Fixed Allowances)

Estimated Gross with OT: Up to RM3,500 – RM4,500 per month

Working Hours

Candidates must be comfortable working on rotating 2-shift / 3-shift schedules, including AM and PM shifts.

Job Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components according to work instructions.
