Job summary

Schmaco Auto Parts Industries in Rawang, Selangor is seeking a diligent assembly operator to ensure metal parts are properly assembled and swaged according to specifications and work instructions. You will learn procedures, operate machines safely, and help meet daily productivity targets.

Responsibilities include inspecting for defects, reporting issues, maintaining jig and fixture placement, keeping the workspace clean, and adhering to safety regulations and company rules.

Qualifications

• Assemble and swage metal parts according to specifications and work instructions.
• Learn procedures, operation of machine, and work instructions.
• Meet daily production targets and report progress to line leader.
• Inform line leader about defects or non-conforming products.
• Maintain tools, jig, fixture placement after use.
• Operate machines safely to prevent accidents.
• Record daily work and ensure WIP slips are intact.
• Keep workspace clean and maintain safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and swage metal parts per specs, ensuring alignment with instructions.
• Learn machine operation, read procedures, and follow work instructions for each batch.
• Keep daily production on track and report progress to the line leader.
• Highlight defects or non-conforming products to supervisors for corrective action.
• Maintain jig/fixture placement and ensure equipment is ready for next batch.
• Operate machinery with caution to avoid accidents and injuries.
• Record daily work and ensure WIP slips stay attached to each batch.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area consistent with regulations and company rules.

• To ensure all of the metal parts are properly assembled and swaged according to company’s specifications and work instruction;
• To learn and understand procedure and work instruction and operations of machine;
• To ensure production of goods met daily productivity target;
• To inform line leader on any defective or non-conforming products or work done;
• To keep jig and fixture in their place accordingly after used;
• To operate machine in cautions and safe way to avoid accidents;
• To perform daily work recording and report;
• To ensure all WIP slips are intact with each batch of products;
• To ensure proper storage and labelling on WIP products;
• To keep supplied tools and equipment in well maintenance and safe;
• To ensure working area and machine are clean and tidy before leaving work place;
• To ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and adhesive of safety and health regulation;
• To adhere to the company’s rules & regulations ad stipulated in the appointment letter;
• To assist and perform any other related duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
