Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a meticulous technician to assemble product component parts according to SOPs and drawings. You will solder electronic components onto PCBs, prepare equipment, and inspect results to ensure defect-free assemblies.

The role requires following product specifications, reporting findings to QC, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Responsibilities include recording soldering outcomes and ensuring compliance with quality standards, with emphasis on accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Experience reading product specifications and assembly sequences.
• Ability to assemble components accurately and identify defects.
• Record soldering results and report to QC or supervisor.

Assemble product component parts according to work instructions, technical drawings, or established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Ensure every component is assembled accurately and free from any defects.

Read and thoroughly understand product specifications and assembly sequences.

Solder electronic components (such as resistors, ICs, transistors, etc.) onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to standards and work drawings.

Prepare soldering equipment, solder wire, flux, and other auxiliary tools, ensuring all equipment is in good condition and safe to use.

Inspect soldering results to ensure there are no cold solder joints, short circuits, or other defects.

Record soldering results and report them to the supervisor or Quality Control (QC) department.

Ensure products comply with quality specifications and standards.

Ensure defective products are clearly segregated and stored in designated areas.

Notify supervisors or the production department if there are recurring or high-risk defects.

Ensure the work area is always kept clean, tidy, and safe to use.
