Job summary

Ascentec Engineering in Penang, Malaysia is seeking personnel to build parts on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions, and schematics, and to support CNC setup and operation under supervision.

You will perform metal finishing tasks, inspect assemblies for faults, use calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges, and observe Ascentec's procedures and documentation. You may be assigned other duties by management as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Build parts on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions and schematics.
• Implement metal surface finishing activities including polishing and buffing.
• Follow safety and efficiency procedures to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Inspect assembled products for faults or defects.
• Assist Engineering department on CNC setup, operation, tool loading and offsets.
• Check parts using calipers, micrometers and depth gauges.
• Provide reports as necessary to appropriate staff.
• Observe and learn Ascentec's procedures and documentation.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.
• Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and/or AESB management.
