Spruson & Ferguson is seeking a motivated Business Development Assistant to join the Asia team in Kuala Lumpur. This entry‑to‑mid level role offers broad exposure to business development across the Asia-Pacific region, including market research, data analysis, and coordination of BD activities.

You will work with Practice Group Leaders and attorneys, contributing to client development initiatives and cross-border initiatives.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Up to two years of relevant work experience in business development, professional services, or related field preferred; fresh graduates with internships encouraged.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin valued.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong time management skills.

Mansioni

• Support development of client-facing materials, including capability statements, proposals, presentations, and responses to RfPs and government tenders.
• Coordinate and support execution of international conferences, client visits, and related events.
• Conduct market, client, and competitor research to support new business opportunities and strategic planning.
• Monitor industry data and trends to provide insights for business development strategies.
• Maintain and update business development tools, including CRM systems and marketing databases.
• Support internal reporting, including tracking KPIs for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Asia-Pacific colleagues to support cross-border initiatives.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Asia Business Development team.
