Job summary

Accenture Malaysia is seeking an AS400 COBOL Developer to join a dynamic, collaborative team. You will develop and configure AS400 COBOL modules and interfaces under the guidance of senior team members, delivering quality software that meets requirements within agreed timelines.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and at least 3 years of AS400 COBOL experience, you will have working knowledge of SQL and DB2, and familiarity with JIRA and ALDON.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT.
At least 3 years of AS400 COBOL development experience; knowledge of Mainframe COBOL or AS400 RPG is acceptable for fast learners.
Experience in banking or payments domain is preferred.
Working knowledge of AS400 COBOL, SQL and DB2.
Experience with JIRA and ALDON is preferred.
Familiarity with SDLC and AS400 maintenance.
Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
