Job summary

INK Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking passionate and responsible individuals to join our growing art center team in Penang. You will assist in teaching art classes, prepare materials, manage classroom activities, and guide students in their artistic development.

Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided. The role requires weekend and weekday evening availability, good communication in English and Chinese, and a positive, team-oriented attitude in a creative environment.

Qualifications

• Patient, cheerful, responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Passionate about working with children and teenagers.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to communicate in Chinese and English.
• Able to work on weekends and weekday evenings.
• Basic drawing or art knowledge is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with 1 year or more teaching experience will have added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' performance and progress in drawing and creativity.
• Work with lead teacher to manage class schedules.
• Assist in lesson preparation and material setup.
• Provide feedback on student progress to teachers/management.
• Guide students on proper use and care of art materials.
• Maintain positive classroom discipline and environment.
• Ensure classroom is clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist in art events, exhibitions, and center activities.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' performance and progress regularly to ensure they are improving their drawing and creative skills.
• Work closely with the lead teacher to manage and monitor class schedules.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, including preparing materials and setting up equipment.
• Provide feedback to the relevant teacher or management regarding students' progress and classroom performance.
• Guide students on the proper use and care of art materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain good classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
• Assist in art events, exhibitions, workshops, and center activities when needed.
• Encourage students' creativity, confidence, and interest in art.
