Job summary

Royal Selangor is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee Selberan Jewelry stores in the assigned region. You will drive sales growth, build high-performing retail teams and maintain premium service standards across all stores.

The role requires 7–8 years in retail sales with 4–5 years in a managerial capacity, experience managing multiple locations, and a track record of meeting targets in luxury brands. Travel between stores is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in retail sales.
• At least 4-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience managing multiple retail stores or locations is highly preferred.
• Experience in luxury jewellery, watches, fashion, premium retail or other high-end brands is an advantage.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving retail performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sales performance and retail operations of Selberan Jewelry stores within the assigned area.
• Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets across the assigned area.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to maximise store performance.
• Monitor sales KPIs, customer trends and store performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead, coach and motivate Store Managers and retail sales teams to achieve business objectives.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure operational efficiency, service standards and brand consistency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with VIP and high-value customers.
• Ensure excellent customer service and clienteling standards across all assigned stores.
• Monitor inventory, merchandising, manpower planning and overall store presentation.
• Work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, HR and Operations teams on retail initiatives and business requirements.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales and performance reports and provide recommendations to management.
