Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations, sales performance, and staff management of multiple retail outlets within the assigned area. You will drive sales, monitor reports, and implement plans to meet targets while ensuring a clean, well-presented stores environment.

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or related field is required, with 4–5 years in Retail or related fields. Willing to work retail hours and travel between locations.

Area Manager (Basic + Attractive Commission)

To oversee the operations, sales performance, and staff management of multiple retail outlets within the assigned area, ensuring sales targets, operational standards, and customer service goals are achieved.

Job Description:

Drive sales performance across all assigned stores to achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Monitor and analyze sales reports, implement action plans to address underperforming stores.

2) Lead Store Operations

• Oversee all day-to-day store activities, ensuring a clean, well-organized, and efficiently run retail environment.

3) Staff Management

• Lead, motivate, and develop Store Managers and store teams to achieve KPIs.
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and guidance, and manage disciplinary processes when necessary.
• Ensure adequate staffing and effective scheduling across stores.

4) Inventory & Visual Merchandising

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse or suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
• Ensure stores are well-presented and visual merchandising guidelines are adhered to.

5) Other Tasks:

• Support marketing or other assignments as needed by management.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.

At least 4-5 years of experience in Retail, or a relevant field will be an added advantage.

Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Ability to work under pressure and travel frequently between store locations.
