Job summary

Inter-Granite Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Draughtsman to join the project team, focusing on handover and close-out of current projects and involvement in ongoing work. You will prepare and revise drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations and client/consultant requirements.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Architecture or Drafting and a minimum of 2 years in architectural or construction projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD and strong collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in architectural or construction projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Good understanding of building regulations and construction detailing
• Good communication skills, detail-oriented, organised, and able to work collaboratively within a project team

Responsibilities

• Prepare working drawings, construction details, detailed drawings, and tender drawings for submission
• Assist in design projects from concept development through to completion, including proposal preparation and presentation
• Revise and adjust drawings and designs to meet client requirements and consultant instructions
• Attend meetings with clients to understand project needs and design requirements
• Ensure all drawings and designs comply with safety standards, local planning regulations, and building requirements
• Collaborate closely with Architects, Engineers, Consultants, and other construction professionals
• Support documentation for project progress, handover, and close-out stages as required
