Job summary

WCT-CCCC JV is seeking an Architect/Architectural Engineer to review drawings, coordinate interfaces with structural, M&E and civil works, and support on-site execution of building and architectural works. You will prepare and review shop drawings, RFIs/TQs, material submissions and method statements, resolving design discrepancies with consultants and site teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years’ building experience, with AutoCAD proficiency and good English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years relevant building/architectural experience; infrastructure/port/industrial experience preferred.
• Familiar with architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, RFIs/TQs, method statements and as-builts.
• Knowledge of finishes, waterproofing, doors/windows and structural/M&E interfaces.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, problem solving, English communication and technical writing skills.
• Able to work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings/specifications and coordinate interfaces with structural, M&E and civil works.
• Prepare/review shop drawings, details, RFIs/TQs, material submissions and method statements.
• Support site execution of buildings/architectural works including finishes, waterproofing, doors/windows and related interfaces.
• Resolve design discrepancies/constructability issues with Consultant/Designer and site teams.
• Coordinate with Draughtsman, Construction, QAQC, Survey and subcontractors; follow up comments/approval.
• Maintain technical registers, red-line/as-built drawings and handover/close-out records.
