Job summary

Arte Axis Design Group / Anuar Aziz Architect in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Design & BIM Architect for Part I & Part II to join our design-driven practice. You will develop concepts, massing, façades and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD across schematic and design development stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, LAM Part I or equivalent.
• Strong architectural design and creative ability.
• Good design portfolio.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Able to communicate design ideas clearly through drawings, models and presentations.
• Fresh graduates with strong design and BIM capability are encouraged to apply.
• Master’s Degree in Architecture, LAM Part II or equivalent.
• Strong architectural design, design development and project experience.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD — both are required.
• Good understanding of consultant coordination, statutory requirements and project delivery.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
• Experience leading project teams or coordinating multidisciplinary consultants will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, planning, massing, façades and creative design solutions.
• Explore and develop design ideas from concept through schematic and design development stages.
• Prepare sketches, diagrams, 3D studies, visualisations and Client presentation materials.
• Use Revit/BIM as part of the design process to explore, develop, coordinate and communicate architectural ideas.
• Develop and maintain architectural BIM models in support of the approved design.
• Create, edit and maintain Revit families, project content and other BIM resources.
• Participate actively in internal design reviews, Client presentations and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Work closely with Project Architects, consultants and technical teams to maintain the architectural design intent throughout the project.
• For experienced Part II candidates, take on greater responsibility in project coordination, Client engagement and project delivery.
