Job summary

SAN FA Construction and Engineering Sdn Bhd, Port Klang, Malaysia, is seeking an Architectural & Structural Designer to join our local team, focusing on disc lock scaffolding layout and related structural support design.

You will produce professional drawings, model structures, revise designs, and work with on-site and sales teams to deliver compliant, safe, and feasible construction solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD/SketchUp and able to produce standard construction drawings.
• Capable of independent structural and architectural design, familiar with scaffolding structure design principles.
• Ability to coordinate with on-site teams and clients to deliver design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and draw professional construction and structural drawings for disc lock scaffolding layout and construction support structures.
• Independently complete structural modeling, drawing design, revision and technical adjustments for projects.
• Cooperate with on-site construction and sales teams to provide design solutions and technical support.
• Check drawing accuracy and ensure compliance with safety standards and project specs.
• Maintain and archive design files and update documents timely.

Job description

We are a professional scaffolding & disc lock system rental company based in Port Klang, Malaysia. We provide disc lock scaffolding rental, structural planning and technical support for construction projects. We are recruiting a dedicated Architectural & Structural Designer to join our local team.

Key responsibilities

Design and draw professional construction and structural drawings according to project requirements, mainly for disc lock scaffolding structure layout and construction support structure design

Independently complete structural modeling, drawing design, revision and technical adjustment for construction projects

Cooperate with on-site construction and sales team to provide professional design solutions and technical support

Check drawing accuracy, ensure all structural designs comply with construction safety standards and project specifications

Maintain design files, archive drawings, and update design documents timely

Optimize structural design solutions to ensure safety, stability and construction feasibility

About you

Proficient in professional design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp or related structural design tools), able to produce standard construction drawings independently

Capable of independent structural and architectural design, familiar with construction structure and scaffolding structure design principles

Mandarin speaking is compulsory (able to communicate fluently in Mandarin with management and Chinese clients)

Basic understanding of building construction, scaffolding structure and site construction process is preferred

Responsible, careful, able to work independently and meet project deadlines

Relevant architecture, civil engineering or structural design background is preferred
