About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Aquatic Sports Quality Control (QC) Manager to join D SWIM ACADEMY SDN. BHD., a leading provider of aquatic sports programmes and facilities in Malaysia. As the Aquatic Sports QC Manager, you will be responsible for upholding the high standards of our swimming and aquatic sports programs, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences. This role ensures all programs, swim teachers, and training pathways meet the organisation’s strategic objectives. The QC Manager oversees program assessment and improvement processes, manages multiple teams and initiatives, and ensures consistent, high-quality delivery across all centres in the country.
What you'll be doing
Program Quality & Performance
Oversee the daily management and quality control of all swim programs.
Develop and implement program assessment protocols to ensure continuous improvement.
Monitor program performance, student learning outcomes, and progression.
Ensure program milestones, schedules, and deliverables are met across all projects.
Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and enhancement of program offerings.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related inquiries and concerns from customers and stakeholders.
Maintain and improve teaching standards for all swim teachers.
Oversee the full development pathway for swim teachers, from trainees to senior.
Monitor the progress of new trainees to ensure training timelines and outcomes are met.
Manage and maintain consistent quality standards for all assessors and trainers.
Oversee and guide all swim centre managers to ensure alignment with DSA’s vision and expectations.
Work closely with HR on workforce planning, staffing, and resource allocation.
Liaise with Marketing and Communications to increase program visibility and drive engagement.
Collaborate with project managers and cross‑functional teams on scope, deliverables, resourcing, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives.
Develop, update, and maintain training programs, manuals, and development objectives.
Conduct or coordinate professional development programs for staff.
Manage program risks, resolve issues promptly, and implement mitigation measures.
Analyse and report on program health, quality metrics, and performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Leadership & Organisational Responsibilities
Lead teams with professionalism, clarity, and strong communication.
Support a high‑performing, collaborative work environment aligned with organisational goals.
Adhere to and model compliance with all DSA policies and procedures.
Perform duties diligently as assigned, with flexibility for changes in scope.
Be prepared for reassignment or transfer to different departments or locations, including interstate or international, as required by the company.

Strong, proven experience in the swimming industry, particularly in program or training management.
Broad understanding of swim program methodologies, teaching principles, and quality assurance.
Ability to connect program outcomes with wider business and strategic objectives.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people‑management skills.
Excellent time management, organisational and facilitation abilities.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with high attention to detail.
Working knowledge of digital marketing principles.
Solid understanding of change management and performance evaluation frameworks.
Strategic, proactive thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of HR legislation and experience in performance management, conflict resolution, and investigations.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high personal integrity and professionalism.
