Baker Hughes Company is seeking an Applications Engineer in drilling services to support pre‑planning, real‑time execution, and post‑job evaluation. You will design trajectories, run simulations, and develop solutions aligned with customer goals, enabling safer, more efficient operations.

Role involves collaborating across disciplines, documenting analyses, and providing on‑call support. 1+ year experience and a engineering degree are preferred, with travel and English proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in well planning or applications engineering in drilling services or field operations.
• Ability to speak and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Design well trajectories and draft bottom hole assemblies.
• Run engineering simulations (torque & drag, hydraulics) and assess hazards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure application feasibility.
• Prepare job programs with risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Document calculations and provide on‑demand technical support.
• Contribute to incident investigations and post‑job analysis.
