Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable professional to support field sales and operations, ensuring information is gathered to address application issues and opportunities for customers in the Southeast Asia region.

You will act as an escalation point for technical and quality issues, coordinating rapid responses with field sales and internal teams, and translating customer needs into actionable solutions. Proactive communication and regional collaboration will be essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor/manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

1. Support field sales customer & operation

• Ensure needed information is gathered from field sales so that application issues and opportunities can be actively addressed.
• Work with field sales to ensure that quality responses issued to customers, on behalf of by the plant, are closed.
• In co-ordination with field sales, provide representation of the company to the customers.

2. Support field sales personnel

• Function as an escalation point for application, manufacturing and quality issues that arise in the field and in coordination with field sales provide rapid response within Southeast Asia region.
• Align internal resources, clearly document and manage plans that translate the customer’s technical issues into solutions that can be delivered.
• Report to Management the impact of application and quality issues on continuing product usage and future sourcing decisions.

3. Build partnerships with customers’ key technical personnel

• Understand customer’s structures and sensitivities.
• Represent the customer-be their internal advocate for quality and service.
• Represent company at technical chapters and organizations within the region.
• Report important industry trends to management.

Requirements:

• Preferable minimum 2 year experience in semiconductor/manufacturing industry.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
