Job summary

GMG, a global well-being company, is seeking an experienced Application Manager (SEA) to manage critical regional applications across Southeast Asia. You will support SAP MM and related modules, coordinate with Group IT, local IT teams and external vendors, and drive regional project implementations and enhancements.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, ERP knowledge and hands-on SAP MM experience, along with excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in application support.
• Hands-on SAP MM experience.
• Experience with SAP SD, PI/PO and HCM is a plus.
• Experience with Vinculum OMS/WMS and marketplace integrations preferred.
• Strong requirements gathering and functional documentation skills.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Application Manager (SEA) to manage and support critical business applications across the Southeast Asia region. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, enhancement and successful implementation of regional applications while working closely with business users, Group IT, local IT teams and external vendors.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP application support, particularly SAP MM, as well as the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects and business requirements across a regional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support regional business applications across Southeast Asia in collaboration with Group IT and local IT teams.
• Provide functional and operational support for SAP MM, with exposure to other SAP modules such as SD, PI/PO and HCM.
• Support business users in resolving application-related issues and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of existing systems.
• Lead and coordinate the implementation and enhancement of regional solutions, including Vinculum Order Management System (OMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and marketplace integrations such as Lazada and Shopee.
• Gather, analyse and document business and user requirements for new projects, system enhancements and process improvements.
• Prepare functional documentation and support project implementation activities where required.
• Work closely with business units, HQ/Group IT, local IT teams, vendors and service providers to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on schedule.
• Facilitate discussions between local and remote stakeholders to drive project progress and successful implementation.
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with relevant internal teams or vendors for resolution.
• Provide training, guidance and support to end-users when required.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders across the region.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities and support activities while ensuring timely delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and enhancement of application support processes.
• Take ownership of professional development and keep abreast of relevant technologies, industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in application support, with strong hands-on experience in SAP MM.
• Good knowledge of other SAP modules, including SD, PI/PO and HCM, will be an added advantage.
• Experience with Vinculum OMS/WMS and marketplace integrations is preferred.
• Strong experience in application support, troubleshooting, requirements gathering and functional documentation.
• Good understanding of ERP systems and regional e-commerce platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with teams across different countries and functions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced regional environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and written skills in English.
• A proactive, collaborative and results-oriented approach, with strong ownership and attention to detail.
