Job summary

Nestlé Chembong Ice Cream Factory in Malaysia invites Bachelor’s degree students to join our Application Group (AG) for Oct/Nov 2026. This internship offers exposure to product development, formulation, evaluation, manufacturing processes and innovation projects within the food industry.

You will collaborate with QA, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain, gaining hands-on experience in food innovation and manufacturing processes, with mentorship from experienced R&D professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
• Preferred fields of study include Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Applied Sciences or related disciplines.
• Availability to commence internship in October or November 2026.
• Interest in food innovation and product development.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to commute to workplace.

This internship offers valuable exposure to product development, formulation, product evaluation, manufacturing processes, and innovation projects within the food industry.

Key responsibilities

Support product development and innovation projects

Assist in product trials and evaluations

Conduct data collection and analysis related to product performance

Support preparation of technical documentation and reports

Participate in product testing, benchmarking, and sensory evaluations

Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams

Assist in continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives

About you

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred fields of study: Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Industrial Chemistry, or other science or engineering disciplines closely related to food manufacturing

Available to commence internship in October or November 2026

Strong interest in food innovation and product development
