Job summary

Kara Marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic intern to assist the R&D team in product development, testing and improvement projects at our Puchong site. You will conduct material and market research, prepare samples, and assist in experiments under supervision.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Food Science and Technology, detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Food Technology or related field.
• Must be detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D in product development, testing and improvements.
• Research materials, technologies, competitors and market trends and summarize findings.
• Assist in preparing samples or prototypes and run experiments.
• Record and analyze test data and report results.
• Help prepare technical documents such as test reports, specifications and SOPs.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.

About you

Students pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Food Technology or any related field

Internship period of at least 6 months is preferred

Willing to work at Puchong

Gain practical exposure to the product development cycle.

Experience with testing methods, data analysis and technical reporting.

Work alongside experienced R&D staff.
