Job summary

OCBC e2 Power Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya seeks an Application Support professional to provide Level 2 production support and enhance banking applications.

The role covers monitoring, issue investigation, and impact analysis of changes, with shift work of 18 by 7 across two days off. Candidates should have experience with Java or .NET platforms, Linux/Windows servers, and DB knowledge in MS SQL or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Work on shifts to provide 18 by 7 support with 2 days off.
• Work location is Cyberjaya.
• Experience with Java/ WebLogic/ WebSphere/ JBoss or .NET/ IIS platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux/ UNIX or Windows Server.

• Banking IT environment experience is a plus.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and team player.
• Able to work with cross border colleagues.

Job Descriptions:

• Provide application support and enhancement for applications used in the bank.
• Perform Level 2 of production support.
• Perform problem investigation – problem identification, root cause analysis, solution definition, development, and implementation.
• Understand the system design and provide impact analysis to any changes.
• Perform application health check and monitoring.

Job Requirements:

• Required to work on shifts on a rotational basis to provide 18 by 7 support with 2 days off.
• (9 hours per shift – 6:30am to 3:30pm/ 2:30pm to 11:30pm)
• Work location is in Cyberjaya.
• Application Technical Support on either of the following:
• Applications based on Java technology and WebLogic/ Websphere/ JBoss OR Applications based on .NET technology and Microsoft IIS Platform.
• Knowledge on Linux/ UNIX OR Windows Server.
• Database knowledge on MS SQL OR Oracle database.
• Knowledge in Banking IT environment will be a plus.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and team player.
• Able to work with cross border colleagues.
