Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for APAC to lead indirect spend procurement related to MRO, R&D equipment, PPE, and service contracts. The role focuses on building supplier relationships, establishing category baselines, and supporting a greenfield site launch with compliant procurement operations.

The candidate will manage RFx processes, negotiate contracts, and drive savings across facilities, operations, and engineering.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing & category management.
• Proven experience with suppliers and stakeholders for MRO categories.
• Greenfield or site-launch experience—building procurement operations from the ground up.
• Ability to navigate compliance in regulated industries (medical devices, life sciences, etc).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFx or strategic sourcing for complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Analyze spend, conduct market and supplier assessments for cost savings and innovation.
• Develop category strategies aligned with business goals and market trends.
• Support site readiness and accelerated sourcing activities for new facilities.
