Job summary

Zimmer Biomet seeks an APAC RTR Senior Accountant to perform month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting within Global Business Services. The role supports AP/AR, master data, and SOX compliance while coordinating with audit teams and management.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in accounting, solid US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and fluency in English and Mandarin. A fast-paced environment with deadlines and process improvements awaits in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in accounting, ACCA or equivalent.
• CPA or equivalent a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in Shared Services/GBS is a plus.
• Fluent English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Perform GBS RTR processes, including period end close and journal entries.
• Close the general ledger with reconciliations and fixed assets reviews.
• Prepare financial and external reporting deliverables.
• Support AP and AR, and master data activities.
• Assist internal and external audits and SOX controls.
• Identify process improvements and drive automation projects.
