Job summary

TE Connectivity in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an HR Partner to drive global and regional HR projects, oversee HR activities across the employee lifecycle, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and corporate standards in a hybrid work setting.

You will develop and localize APAC HR policies (including China), training programs for staff and managers, and governance processes while coordinating with stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of HR experience, preferably within an MNC Manufacturing company.
• Hands-on experience localizing HR policies and employee handbooks across APAC, including China.
• Proven experience in reviewing, localizing, and implementing HR policies across APAC countries.
• Solid understanding of labor laws, HR compliance practices, and policy governance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Support global, regional, and local HR initiatives and projects.
• Oversee HR activities across the employee lifecycle including policy development and compliance.
• Design and deliver training programs on HR policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Lead policy management with documentation, approvals, version control, and audit trails.
• Monitor local labor laws and regulatory changes and translate them into actionable HR policies.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling per policy and law.
• Support day-to-day HR operations, reporting, and documentation management.
• Contribute to HR systems optimization to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
