Job summary

SKIDATA Australasia is seeking a Financial Accountant based in Malaysia to drive financial planning, reporting and performance management across Australasia and Malaysia. You will own forecasting, budgeting, general ledger, tax, payroll and governance, reporting to the Senior Manager – Finance and Administration APAC.

You will manage BAS, payroll tax, audits, internal controls and corporate governance, while coordinating with regional and group stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA qualification desirable.
• At least 5 years in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Manage fortnightly sales forecast and quarterly/annual budgeting cycles.
• Prepare internal management reports and statutory submissions.
• Oversee reconciliations, journals, accruals and month-/year-end close.
