Job summary

DEEPOCEAN (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager Asia Pacific to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team across offshore construction, T&I, decommissioning and IRM projects in the APAC region.

You will set governance, develop capability, and deliver engineering services safely and efficiently. You will partner with Operations, Project Managers, Commercial teams and clients to align resources, standards, and technical excellence with project needs and business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
10+ years in oil and gas with subsea/T&I/IRM experience.
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Leadership experience in an engineering management role.
Strong governance, risk management and project delivery knowledge.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Chartered Engineer status or equivalent accreditation.
Experience in offshore construction, subsea operations, asset integrity or decommissioning.
Deepwater project experience or working with an EPCI contractor is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Oversee governance, technical excellence, and assurance across projects.
Coordinate with tender, bid, procurement, project management, and operations teams.
Ensure safe, on-time, within-budget engineering deliverables.
