Job summary

Clarks Outlet is seeking a Compensation Analyst to lead APAC compensation initiatives from Malaysia. You will partner with global teams, advise regional HR, and drive benchmarking, pay range development, and annual reviews across multiple markets.

The role requires strong English, 6+ years of experience in compensation, and the ability to connect reward solutions to business needs. On-site work five days a week with some virtual collaboration in the evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
• 6+ years of experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, or related field.
• Multi-country and retail industry experience highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills for compensation analysis, benchmarking, and annual review modeling.
• Knowledge of compensation legislation, Total Rewards practices, and job evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional and cross-cultural stakeholder groups and lead global projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the regional compensation lead for APAC, partnering with the global compensation community to deliver reward programs.
• Serve as the day-to-day compensation advisor for regional HR partners and business leaders.
• Design, develop, and manage compensation initiatives aligned with global reward principles using data to inform decisions.
• Lead pays benchmarking and compensation survey participation for assigned global locations.
• Support development and maintenance of pay ranges across APAC reflecting market trends and internal equity.
• Coordinate APAC inputs for the annual pay review process with compliant costing and budgeting.
• Monitor legislation and market developments related to compensation and governance.
• Build external networks for market data and share findings with stakeholders.
• Lead defined global compensation projects and audits across markets.
