Job summary

Maker Lab in Malaysia is seeking an Events Marketing Manager to lead regional B2B event strategy and execution for technology clients, creating experiences that elevate brand presence and drive business growth.

You will define objectives, manage budgets, coordinate vendors and cross‑functional teams, and deliver post‑event analyses with actionable insights. Travel across APAC may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of event marketing or management experience.
• Proven track record delivering events on time and within budget.
• Willingness to travel across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Define event objectives, scope, deliverables, and KPIs; track performance.
• Develop and monitor event budgets for cost efficiency.
• Liaise with agencies, vendors, and partners; provide briefs and oversee execution.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Research, Sponsorship, and others.
• Act as PMO for events; manage timelines and communications.
• Compile post-event reports with actionable recommendations.
