Job summary

Alcon Laboratories Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manager, Accounts Receivable (APAC) to lead AR operations across the Asia Pacific region. You will manage a team of 10–12 associates and partner with country Finance Leaders, Treasury and Commercial teams to optimize cash flow and strengthen controls.

The role demands deep AR/I2C expertise, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of process improvement. Fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory to support APAC stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Invoice-to-Cash, Shared Services or related Finance functions.
• Experience leading process improvement, automation, or ERP projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the AR/I2C team across APAC with guidance and coaching.
• Oversee end-to-end AR operations including Credit Management, Collections, Dispute Resolution, Cash Application and AR Reporting.
• Ensure delivery aligns with SLAs, KPIs and business objectives; maintain strong controls and governance.
• Drive cash flow optimization, working capital improvements, and auditable financial records.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Commercial teams, country teams, auditors and banking partners.
• Lead month-end close for AR, including provisions and doubtful debt reserves.
• Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process standardization.
