Job summary

DHL is seeking an experienced Team Manager in Malaysia to lead the Accounts Payable Shared Services function. The role focuses on driving service quality, data integrity of vendor records, timely invoice processing, and compliant payment execution.

You will develop team capability, standardize processes, and pursue automation opportunities while collaborating with finance, procurement and internal controls to support audits and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of work experience in finance, preferably in a Shared Service Centre.
• 2–4 years in leadership plus process or SME experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Vendor Master Data, including creation, modification, extension, blocking and deactivation.
• Review invoices for accuracy and compliance; ensure PO and receiving documents match.
• Input invoice data accurately and maintain organized records.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, POs and receipts with relevant departments.
• Ensure timely payments per terms and optimize cash flow.
• Adhere to internal controls and audit requirements; support audits with documentation.
• Foster vendor relationships and act as point of contact for invoice inquiries and payment status.
• Generate reports (aging, etc.) to support planning and drive process improvements.
• Lead continuous improvements in AP processes and participate in regional/global initiatives.
