Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead in Malaysia to lead day-to-day AP operations and resolve complex issues. This hands-on role balances operational execution with people leadership, driving process improvements and working with Finance, Operations, Shared Services and IT to maintain a well-controlled AP function.

The successful candidate will lead the team during peak periods, ensure service levels are met, and foster a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of Accounts Payable experience within a multinational or Shared Service environment.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing high-volume invoice processing.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day AP operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide hands-on support during peak periods and issue resolution.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Shared Services and IT.
• Foster a high-performance culture and lead by example.
