BIT is seeking an experienced Expense Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to join the Group Finance team. You will oversee accounts payable processes, manage invoices, and ensure timely payments in line with policies and regulations.

The role emphasizes strong business acumen, collaboration, and the use of AI tools to optimize workflows. Mandarin proficiency is a plus, and you will interact with internal and external stakeholders. The position offers growth in a fast-paced crypto finance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, incl. ≥3 years in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for workflow optimization.
• Fluent English; Mandarin will be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee (review and process) employee claims and vendor payments, utilizing digital expense management systems and automated payment platforms.
• Perform reporting activities using financial software, dashboards, and advanced data tools.
• Ensure accruals accuracy and reasonableness.
• Handle budget recording, reporting and analytical processes.
• Review processes and systems to meet business needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and AP automation.
• Support Finance team members and stakeholder communications.
• Assist with withholding tax forms and monthly closing, as required.
