Job summary
Test Research Innovation Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an AOI/SPI/AXI Field Application Engineer based in Johor to install, configure and support our automated inspection systems. You will train customers, analyze performance, and collaborate with R&D to drive improvements.
Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly valued, with willingness to travel for onsite support. The role requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with on-call duty hours and overseas travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Experience in AOI/AXI operation/line support during night shifts.
- Knowledge in AOI/AXI equipment or license is a plus.
- Willing to travel overseas for onsite support as required.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Willing to be on 24/7 on-call with flexible duty hours.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and troubleshoot AOI, SPI, AXI systems at customer sites.
- Provide on-site training for effective use and maintenance of systems.
- Liaise with customers to understand requirements and offer technical guidance.
- Analyze system performance data and suggest optimizations.
- Collaborate with R&D to identify product improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and support activities.
- Support the sales team by demonstrating product capabilities to prospects.
