Job summary

PPG Industries (UK) Limited is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to manage collections for Australia and New Zealand from the Malaysia Shared Finance Centre. The role emphasizes credit policy adherence, dispute resolution, and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities include ageing management, daily order release control, and coordination with external agencies. Hybrid work model with some remote flexibility and public-holiday considerations for ANZ markets are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 2–5 years in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Collections.
• Experience in hybrid or shared services environments.
• Willingness to work on rotating shift schedules and observe Australia and New Zealand public holidays.
• Prior exposure to supporting Australia/New Zealand or other international markets.
• Strong organization, analytical ability, and resilience under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; fluent English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide timing and reliable analysis of receivable performance to the business to reveal the impact of collections on sales.
• Process collections worklist items with accurate system data for each credit representative.
• Manage ageing portfolios and proactively follow up on overdue accounts; contact customers for settlement plans.
• Oversee daily order release for accounts over credit limit or with overdue debts; obtain necessary approvals.
• Monitor long-outstanding debts and ensure timely acknowledgment and resolution.
• Manage Bad Debts Reserve and Write Off with justification in coordination with business and finance.
• Coordinate with third-party collection agencies for overdue debt recovery.
• Assist manager in monthly DSO reporting with reliable commentary and timely submission.
• Handle credit card payments; store approval codes and inquiries as needed.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
