Job summary

Blackbox BI Consultancy in Malaysia seeks a BI Engineer to develop analytics reports, dashboards, and visualization solutions within the Solution Architecture Team. You will work with accounts executives and developers to deliver scalable BI features using MicroStrategy and related tools.

The role requires at least a CS/IT degree and minimum two years in a software development or deployment team, with SQL experience in Oracle/MySQL.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Degree or higher, in Computer Science/Information Technology or in related field.
• MUST have experience with Microsoft SQL or the other relational database such as Oracle, MySQL, Firebird and etc.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as part of a software development/deployment team for business.
• Exposure to retail domain, understanding overall Retail operations, as well as specifics of data captured at various touch points in retail operations.
• Experience with BI Applications is ideal
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

• Develop and improve standard reports and dashboards that can be rapidly release to new clients
• Validate and perform quality checking and assurance on the data from the models
