Analyst, TCO and NTC Support (6 months contract third party)

Job summary

EDOTCO Group is seeking a Finance professional in Malaysia to support Group-wide Total Cost Optimization and Revenue Assurance governance. You will consolidate NTC focus areas, track progress, and coordinate forums for action tracking across NTCs.

The role involves identifying cost-reduction opportunities, reviewing reports and financial feasibility, and providing actionable insights to support management decision-making. A background in finance with audit or commercial experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of external audit experience. Prior exposure in big 4 (external audit) is a plus.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant commercial experience in business planning, internal audit, management reporting or a related finance function.
• Infrastructure and Telco experience would be an added advantage.
• Ability to work across diverse cultures and diverse employee population.
• Good analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
• Strong business and financial analysis, report writing, Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across Group and NTCs.
• Proficiency in analysing data, identifying trends and translating findings into clear business insights.
• Positive, collaborative and self-motivated, with the ability to perform under pressure and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and strategies to reduce costs through more effective management of OPEX and CAPEX at Group and NTC level.
• Manage quarterly reporting by tracking cost optimization activities against target i.e. review, assess and liaise with NTCs for any gap analysis.
• Review NTC reports, ROMA materials, site profitability findings and the financial feasibility of Group pricing proposals, including post-implementation reviews.
• Consolidate Group Cost PSPM reporting and liaise with NTCs to analyse cost variances, identify key drivers and ensure timely, accurate reporting of performance insights.
• Perform site profitability analysis for the Malaysian entities (ECMY and YBSB), identify key performance and cost drivers, liaise with respective business owners and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support assigned.
• Perform independent review, validation and challenge of NTCs’ Revenue Assurance focus area and findings.
• Provide structured updates to Revenue Assurance Council members by coordinate and facilitate Revenue Assurance Council Forum, including agenda setting, materials, and action tracking.

Job description

• To support Group-wide Total Cost Optimization by consolidating and analyzing NTC cost-saving initiatives, monitoring performance against approved KPIs, coordinating Project ROMA and its key workstreams including site profitability, ground lease renewal, assets under construction (AUC), inventory and warehouse management, and supporting the implementation and enhancement of related digital tools.
• To support Group-wide Revenue Assurance governance by consolidating NTC focus areas, findings and remediation progress, coordinating Revenue Assurance Council forum and action tracking across NTCs.

Key Accountabilities

Total Cost Optimization
